AWKWARD

Mikel and I were arguing in the front seat of the car with the kids in the back and in usual form, we are debating something and being snarky with each other.  I eventually say- Mikel I don't know why you are in such a bad mood.  All I am saying is.... then Mikel answers with some other snarky comment.  I pause and look at Mikel...Out of no where, we hear JL say from the back seat:  AWKWARD!

The other day we were at Krogers and getting ham from the deli dept when out of no where, JL goes:  Mom, which one of these is freaking disgusting?  I say- What?  What do you mean?  JL says- Remember, you were telling daddy that one of these is freaking disgusting.  Which one is it?  That is when I realized I really need to watch what I am saying.

I don't know when, but I must have said to Lucy one day- OMG, Lucy! You are driving me crazy! I am going to lose my mind!  Lucy felt terrible about it and started crying and saying- No mama, you lost my mind, mama, you lost my mind.   Then recently she has been saying:  Mama, you made me lose my mind, when she really means, you made me forget what I was going to say.
