Congestion update

Sorry no pictures today. Just an update that JL is still congested and jaundiced. He is feeding well with lots of wet and dirty diapers. No fever. I think his jaundice is getting better but hard to say since I see him everyday.

We took him today to get passport pictures taken. It is kind of an ordeal since he has to have his eyes open. Of course he refused to wake up after minor torture by Mike and I and the minute that we got out of the studio, he woke right up with eyes wide open. We did get one shot of him half drowsy, but they studio said it would work. We'll see.

Tomorrow we need to get his social security card/number. I ordered his birth certificate online and have them in hand. The only thing left is to get Mike to notarize a form stating he consents to the issuance of a passport. Lots of hoops to get a passport, but for us- necessary as we are planning on going to Taiwan at the end of January. JL will stay for an extra 2 weeks.

While there our hope is that I can bring enough/pump enough for him. But this has meant a lot of research on shipping containers with dry ice, etc.

Oops- baby is about to wake up and needs food! More later...
